About Cornerstone Care Consultancy
I qualified as an RGN in 1990. I worked in the NHS until achieving Nurse Manager level and then moved into the Private Sector in 2004, managing a large nursing home until 2011. I then set up Cornerstone Care Consultancy, as well as returning to the NHS on a part time basis.
I have specific clinical skills in care of the elderly, continence management and palliative care. My leadership and management skills are excellent, with expertise in PR and team building. A particular strength is marketing and the implementation of marketing strategies. I have a sound knowledge of the CQC regulations and of Safeguarding.
My extensive knowledge of the care sector and the elderly enables me to fully assess each client, make suitable recommendations regarding their care and ensure that their needs, wishes and expectations are being met, whether they are recieving care at home, or in a care home. I know what to look for from a care agency or a care home and clients can be assured of an expert, professional eye being kept on them.
